PSA is dimpling barrels on their complete uppers…finally.

This recent purchase is not a CHF Premuim. It’s just their regular Freedom line. I’ve had great luck with PSA uppers, but l was always slightly annoyed by their lack of barrel dimpling. I am glad to see that PSA is taking the extra step forward.

What’s dimpling do? Allow for suppressor?

The dimples will help to keep the screws from maring or leaving a bur on the barrel ( the bur will be in the bottom of the dimple) so the gas block slides past.Feb 28, 2012… Ar15 Google thx

The dimples help the gas block stay in the proper position. That way your gun keeps running. Not enough gas the bolt doesn’t work. Then the gun doesn’t go bang bang bang.
